Media Literacy in Vardenis: Quest Game at School

At the media literacy MIL hub established by our organization at Vardenis Secondary School No. 3, the creators of the latest educational and recreational activity were senior students Knarik Madoyan and Milena Martoyan, beneficiaries of the “Resilience Through Media Literacy” program.
Knarik and Milena organized an engaging quest game during which Vardenis youth tested their skills and knowledge in identifying fake news through various tasks. The quest stood out for its creative and team-building challenges, encouraging collaboration and problem-solving.
Recognizing the importance of sharing their experiences and skills with peers, the girls organized a preparatory workshop for participants before the quest. Media expert and teacher Hasmik Charkhchyan also joined the session, sharing her knowledge and insights.
The event was held during Media Literacy Week, making Vardenis part of the nationwide events organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports. Special thanks to Knarik and Milena for their initiative and sense of responsibility.
The “Resilience Through Media Literacy” program is implemented by the “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO with financial support from the “Freedom House.”
