Empowering Displaced Women Through Education and Business Skills

For the past five weeks, beneficiaries of the “Education and Rehabilitation: Capacity Building Program for Forcibly Displaced Women” have been acquiring advanced skills in online sales of services and products, as well as professional knowledge in becoming sales managers. This initiative was led by Tigran Madatyan, a lawyer and founder of Academy Partners by Madatyan. This program is implemented by the “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO in collaboration with the “Women’s Resource Center” NGO, with financial support from Sweden.

During the month-long program, participants explored legal documentation, online sales platforms, page management, and entrepreneurship in the digital marketplace. They also learned strategies to expand service offerings and improve their business prospects.

The “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO and the “Article 3” Club have consistently prioritized the rehabilitation and economic empowerment of women and girls affected by war and forced displacement. Over the years, they have implemented multiple programs, supporting more than 11,000 families from Artsakh.
