“ARTICLE 3” Human Rights School 2025

Admissions for the 2025 academic year are now open!

📍When and Where

The school will run for three months, starting on March 3. Sessions will take place 2-3 times a week, from 15:30 to 18:30 at the Article 3 Club.

Key Focus Areas of the Program

➝ The essence and nature of human rights, state obligations, and the current situation
➝ Human rights in closed and semi-closed institutions: legal practice and protection issues in the army, penitentiaries, and mental health centers
➝ Challenges in protecting political and civil rights within national and international legal systems
➝ Human rights within the framework of the RA Constitution and key rulings of the RA Constitutional Court
➝ Visits and meetings with representatives from the RA Prosecutor General’s Office, the Human Rights Defender’s Office, and the Constitutional Court
➝ Professional visits to the Spitak Mental Health Care Home and Armavir Penitentiary
➝ Mock trial sessions


Please Note

This year, the school will also include a two-day course on international law and international criminal law, featuring leading experts in the field.


Who Can Apply?

The school is a specialized program designed for individuals with or pursuing a legal education.
Eligible applicants include:
➝ 2nd to 4th year undergraduate students of law faculties/departments
➝ Law students pursuing a master’s degree
➝ Recent law graduates
