Teenagers’ Capacity Development, Rehabilitation, and Inclusion Program
“For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO, with the support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Armenia, has launched the “Teenagers’ Capacity Development, Rehabilitation, and Inclusion” educational program, organizing and implementing cultural activities and art therapy courses in various communities over the three months summer.
The purpose of the courses has been to support the integration and rehabilitation of forcibly displaced Artsakh teenagers through art, while also providing them with educational and recreational activities during their summer break.
As part of the program, over ten displaced Artsakh teenagers resettled in the Vayots Dzor region have acquired skills in working with clay this summer. In her small studio in the Areni community, potter Arpine Matevosyan has helped the children not only disconnect from daily worries and enjoy the pleasures of clay modeling and pottery but also foster closer interactions with their peers from Armenia in an informal educational environment.
