????The second day of the “MediaDitak” media literacy festival, started with the “Media Hike” project on the shores of Lake Sevan.
➡️As part of the event organized by the students from Martuni High School, participants cleaned up the area surrounding Lake Sevan, then went on a hike with media expert Armen Sargsyan, where they discussed the importance of critical thinking and media literacy. The “Media Hike” was highlighted by songs about media literacy composed by the participants.
The second half of the day was highlighted by the media literate gata baking ceremony in Karchaghbyur. Emphasizing the need to equip the older generations with media literacy skills, the women baking gata participated in a capacity-building workshop, which was followed by the traditional gata baking event.

Dance performances prepared by the active youth of the community enlivened the event, making it a true celebration for the residents of Karachambyur.
