“MediaDitak: Resilience through Media Literacy” project
The third performance of the interactive play “Fake News Press Club” staged as part of the “MediaDitak: Resilience through Media Literacy” project, took place in Artashat. Lively and dynamic, the event encouraged teenagers from various communities in the Ararat region to actively engage in discussions and participate in role-playing games woven into the performance.
Directed by Samson Movsisyan’s theater group, the play explores the dangers of media manipulation, offering tools and methods for identifying and avoiding fake news. The serious subject matter was infused with humor and theatrical flair, featuring caricatured, often grotesque characters that entertained while educating the audience.
The “MediaDitak: Resilience through Media Literacy” is funded through a Department of State Public Diplomacy Section grant, and implemented by “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO.
