“For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO is implementing a professional capacity development project to support war-affected women from Artsakh.
With the support of our benefactors, women from Artsakh get the opportunity to learn new professions at “Art House” educational centre, which allows them to become more competitive in the labour market and acquire professional skills to find employment and earn the money essential for their families.
Since the very first day of the war, “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO and “Article 3” Human Rights Club have been implementing emergency assistance programs for the Armenians of Artsakh, providing humanitarian aid to more than 11 thousand people of Artsakh. Our efforts are currently focused on providing long-term solutions, by implementing professional skill development projects.
Thanks to the courses, the participants will acquire professional knowledge in such professions as hairdresser, cosmetologist, florist, design of confectionery, and accountancy, which are in great demand in the market. After the completion of the courses, they will also receive the necessary working tools to find employment.
The implementation of this project is possible thanks to the support of individual benefactors who made their donations available via The GlobalGiving platform: https://bit.ly/36JCCCY
The program is ongoing, and every donation will be a huge contribution to the transformation and recovery of the families who lost everything after the devastating events of the war.
