“Journalists for Rights” Workshop Officially Launched

The three-day journalistic workshop “Journalists for Rights,” organized by the “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO, commenced with a meeting and keynote address by the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Anahit Manasyan.

The Human Rights Defender not only provided a detailed presentation of the work conducted in several areas and highlighted the nuances of coverage essential for raising the participants’ awareness and sensitivity regarding various fields, but also responded to numerous questions and comments.

The journalistic workshop is being held with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia, with the participation of 22 journalists from leading media outlets.

The workshop is part of the “Article 3. Journalists for Rights” journalism award, which is held annually on December 10, International Human Rights Day, with pre-announced categories and a monetary prize fund.
